Job Description

My client, a local authority in west London, is looking for an experienced Contract Monitoring Officer to workwithin the Housing and Regeneration Estate Services Team to carry out quality monitoring and report on the performance of estate services contracts such as caretaking, grounds maintenance and refuse contractors, also liaising and co-ordinating with contractors; other council departments to ensure that contracted services deliver a clean, well maintained and safe communal environment.
You will provide a contact point for residents, and assist in the development of a resident involvement and inspection regime that increases contractor accountability and customer satisfaction.
You wiull be required to carry out administrative functions within the section including the maintenance of client systems and records in line with statutory and corporate requirements.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
- Experience of working within an Estate Services Quality Monitoring Regime.
- Ability to provide leadership and inspiration to a group of resident inspectors in order to encourage participation and cooperation with a resident monitoring regime.
- Ability to manage own workload setting up an agreed programme of meetings and inspections with contractors and residents and working to it.
- Ability to work within changing and conflicting workloads.
- Ability to use and assist in the development of Monitoring systems including IT
- Ability to use Micro soft Office systems, Outlook; Word; Excel and PowerPoint
