LSA - Learning Support Assistant:
**Have 6+ months previous experience working within SEN
**£65 - 85 per day, dependent on experience
**Be proactive, show initiative always and have a firm but fair approach
**PECS/Makaton/BSL/Maybo/Team Teach, or some form of restraint experience is preferred

The School - LSA - Learning Support Assistant:
The school is based in St Albans. They have roughly over 100 students, aged 6-19, within the school. All the pupils either have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) or a Statement of Special Educational Needs. The school has exceptional facilities and grounds and a positive, tailored approach to maximize students learning potential.
They have a fantastic team who can provide excellent training and support, regardless of whether you are employed on a permanent or temporary basis.

The Role - LSA - Learning Support Assistant:
This LSA - Learning Support Assistant role is within a brilliant SEN school that I have the pleasure of working closely with. They are looking for a LSA - Learning Support Assistant who has previous experience within SEN and someone who can work to inspire and achieve! The ideal candidate will have worked in a school with students that have a range of complex needs such as ASD, PMLD and SLD.

As an LSA - Learning Support Assistant, you would be supporting the emotional, social and academic development of the students you work with to optimize learning and maximize comfort.
