The role - Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Our client school are seeking a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work closely with a group of key children in KS1 or KS2. The role is ideally for a candidate who has teaching assistant/support staff experience and would like to take the next step into a teaching career. From your experience you should have strong behaviour management as you will be solely working with the children without additional support. The planning and work preparation will be done beforehand by the teacher and your role will be to deliver this information to your focus group. The school offer the highest quality educational experience, aiming to inspire a generation of lifelong learners, who take pride in their achievements and take ownership of their learning. The school have the highest expectations of achievement and behaviour and offer a nurturing and supportive ethos where they can celebrate difference and ensure that everyone meets their full potential. In order to be short listed you must be distinguished at graduate level as this will be a criteria to embark on the teacher training which the school offers.
