Job Description

FRCE are currently working with a variety of Local Authorities based across the North West to recruit for HCPC registered Qualified Social Workers, Senior Social Workers and Senior Practitioners to work within a Children and Families team.

Areas include: Blackburn, Rochdale, Bury, Bolton, Salford, Manchester, Lancashire, Oldham, Tameside, Trafford, Warrington, Stockport, Knowsley, St. Helens, Wirral, and Liverpool.

Role
*Managing a mixed caseload of Child Protection, Children In Need, and Looked After Children
*Working with children and families who are in need or at risk
*Initial Assessments
*Core Assessments
*Preparing court reports
*Attending court and giving evidence
*Preparing Child Protection plans
*Chairing meetings
*Liaising with other members of the multi-disciplinary team
*Regular supervision

Requirements
*Degree or equivalent in Social Work
*HCPC Registered
*2 years + experience as a Qualified Social Worker in a similar role
*Driver desirable
*5 years references required
*Satisfactory DBS check
*Update service DBS accepted
*Available within 2 weeks
*Up to date CV with no gaps
