Social Worker, Qualified Social Worker

Our Client:
Qualified Social Workers to provide a social work service to children and families arising out of the Council's duties and powers under legislation, procedures and regulations.

The Role:
Currently they are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker to hold a caseload, including cases in court proceedings, and undertake a range of duties and responsibilities on behalf of the Department specified in the Children's Act 2004, Every Child Matters and such other legislation as is or may be appropriate to work with children and their families. Undertake assessments of children looked after by the borough to inform the development of appropriate care/protection plans to ensure statutory duties are met and these support the achievement of quality standards and practice development. The role involves regular direct work, joint working, home visits and reflective sessions with clients, colleagues and partners.
Candidate will need to have at least 2 years post qualifying experience preferably working within a Child In Need setting. Experience of writing reports for child protection case conferences and for court.

You will:
* Hold a valid DBS (Conducted in the last 12 months)
* MUST have the relevant post qualification experience in the UK.
* Have a good level of English (written & verbal) skills for report writing.
* Have renewed your HCPC registration
