Job Description

Job Title: Housing Allocations Administrator

JOB PURPOSE:Provide administrative support to ensure that the Allocations Team achieves all Service Level Agreements in line with business requirements.

To Maintain void monitoring and tracking system through liaisons with colleagues, customers contractors and technical officers.

-To assist the team deliver on all key performance and service standard indicators as set for the allocation service, ensuring all functions are carried out.

-To produce draft responses to Members' enquiries and customer complaints within departmental, corporate, and legislative timescales and procedures.

-To record and maintain records and to ensure that all sensitive and confidential information is stored in an appropriate manner and in line with GDPR requirements.

-To maintain accurate budget records concerning tenant downsize moves or overcrowding solutions, set up new contractors/customers on the Council's finance system and process payments.

-To manage inbound/outbound communication from customers either through telephone, post or email within defined service level standards.

-To raise appropriate orders through the Council's systems to ensure delivery of decant, downsizing and overcrowding services.
