Job Description

Supporting individuals with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) can be a challenging but hugely rewarding career. We have long term positions for experienced Support Workers who have a special interest in working with Autism, and ASD and are committed to developing their career as a Care Assistant or Support Worker within Adult Learning Disabilities.
With a clear understanding of managing challenging behavior effectively, being able to demonstrate that you provide a person centered approach to your care delivery, and being an individual with a calm attitude and an encouraging approach to the individuals you support, we can offer you long term Support Worker assignments in Basildon and surrounding areas.

Rates vary between £9.00 - £11.00 per hour for Support Workers or Care Assistants, depending upon the shift worked and the location of the Learning Disability service.

You must:
* Hold a valid DBS (Preferably registered with the online service checker)
* Have a Care qualification or Care Certificate and a minimum of 6 months UK based care experience
* Be able to work full time hours across a mix of shift patterns such as mornings / afternoons / evening / nights / weekends
* Be able to provide references covering the last 5 years
* Have all Mandatory Care Training up to date, or be prepared to complete this prior to being placed into any shifts - FRCE can assist with your training needs if required
* Be experienced in supporting Adults with Learning Disabilities, especially Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD, Autism)
