The Role - SEN TA:

A successful SEN TA will be proactive and versatile. The right SEN TA will work closely with pupils who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), such as on the autism spectrum/ADHD and ensure they are working towards reaching their maximum potential. The SEN TA will work alongside a classroom teacher ensuring students are receiving the correct level of support such as planning, organising and distributing work while also providing social, academic and emotional support to the students. A SEN TA should have imperative communication skills as there will be consistent means of liaising with pupil's parents and other staff members within the team while displaying empathy towards our pupils.

The successful SEN TA candidate will possess the following:

* Find the position of a SEN TA and to change a child's life rewarding.
* Passionate working with SEN children with additional needs, and resilient to do well.
* You will have good literacy and numeracy skills
* You will work close to secure the best possible outcome for all pupils
* Be motivated by any challenge that arises.
* Experienced or not, to be determined have a successful career as a SEN TA

The School: SEN TA:

The aim of our lovely Special Needs Secondary school is to encourage our students to gain independence and pursue an education so that they can be outstanding in the wider community. Based in Shepherds Bush in the London Borough of Hammersmith, We are pleased to share that we are accredited as "GOOD" by Ofsted in May 2015. Our teaching was judged as "OUTSTANDING". Our team are determined to ensure we deliver the highest quality of education and learning to our pupils.

Our school focuses and provides exceptional support to individuals with Speech, Language and Communication needs, Learning and Cognition. Moreover, our brilliant strategy of inviting Occupational and Speech Therapists into the class allows a fantastic cocktail of approaches within one classroom, in effort to drive a productive and progressive experience for our pupils during their learning hours.

The learning environment that we provide for our amazing students is set in such a way that it meets a diverse range of learning levels and the needs. We have a provision of practical, multi-sensory learning ICT and multiple independent research and recording activities.
