The Role - Graduate Teaching Assistant

To be successful in this Graduate Teaching Assistant role, you will need a combination of academic ability and strong personal traits. The school are looking to appoint several graduates who have at least a 2:1 or above and strong A-Levels. The successful candidates must also be confident to work with students on a one to one basis and in small group basis, while being able to inspire learning in your subject area and building the confidence in the students you support. This post requires a Graduate Teaching Assistant who has a calm temperament and can act as a strong role model for these pupils. This is full time position that requires you to start before the students arrive and leave well after they have gone. Being a Graduate Teaching Assistant is a rewarding position that will be of real benefit for those considering teacher training or a long-term career in education.
